All About Recording At The Fest

It’s getting better all the time! We offer what many claim to be the best activity at the Fest—The chance to sing along with the Beatles and create your own CD in a REAL STUDIO! Create the ultimate in Fest souvenirs! There are MANY NEW TRACKS THIS YEAR!  If you have a particular track with you—let us know or select from the songs listed! Your voice can be added! Songs listed on the other side come with the lyrics. This year we are offering three types of recording sessions:

 Session 1—This is our traditional recording studio format which allows some practice time. (for the vocalist in all of us) rates are: $20 for one song, $35 for 2, $45 for 3 songs produced on 1 CD.

Session 2— for the serious musician(s) who wish to record with “takes” and more rehearsal time. This is the method to use if you are interested in making a demo recording. You can use your instrument(s) along with your vocal as a solo, along with pre-recorded tracks, or in any way that you wish.  Recording and effects will be discussed and added per your request.  This method is not possible in Sessions 1 or 3.  Time is billed at the rate of $25.00 for each 15 minute segment. There is also a one time charge of  $15.00 to reconfigure the studio for your needs. It is recommended that you pre-schedule your time before coming to the fest. Mastering available.  (What is mastering? - Mastering is the process of taking the "raw" recording that you've done and creating a final, post-production copy which is enhanced for play and broadcast purposes. Your final CD will sound louder and clearer.  Effects can also be added at this time such as reverb, delay and chorus.)
